    Satin black from a rattle can. The trick to making it look half way decent is to buy the krylon paint with the fan tip. I get more compliments on the look of my $30 paint job than I think I would once I get it painted. So for now - the black stays.

    The contact patch to the ground is 10" With the bulge the entire width is just shy of 11. I have just over 1/8" from the leaf spring and have about 1/4" from the fender with no rubbing issues at all and my rear end is LOW...

    Need help with Multi-Function switch

    I need to replace my multi-function switch. Does anyone have a resource I can find out how to get to it? I've been looking on the internet for some time without finding any directions on how to get to the switch. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    power steering question

    I have a 89 351 in my 68. I have a 89 power steering pump on but the original hoses don't match up plus they look pretty tired. Is there a new hose kit or adapter that I could buy that will hook the two up?

    POWER DISC!!

    I bought the kit from diskbrakeswap - and was really pleased. I too went with the manual disc brakes. Everything went together real easy - but car hasn't run yet, so I can't talk to you about how they feel - but I did a lot of research before deciding to go manual disc.

    my70stang - nice pics. I noticed your not running a heater. I like the plug you used - was that a NAPA part as well? Also did you just run the bypass hose, and plug the other outlet from the waterpump? I'll be running my car with out a heater as well.

    Good information here. I however have not gotten very far with my install. I was one of those lucky people that has a frozen leaf spring bolt. Still working on getting it out. From there it all looks pretty simple.
