where do i probe with the volt meter??? on the screws? or do i unplug the harness and probe on each terminal? :shrug:

Engine is surging from 600 rpms-2500 rpms after i start the car. it does this til it finally cuts off. it comes and goes sometimes it will do it and other times its fine, but it seems like it only does it when its hot. if i start the car for the first time in a few days, it will start and run...

i think everything is in my signiture, in the next 2 weeks im switching to a c-4 trans, 3800 converter, long tube BBK headers, 1 chamber flows, and a 28x11.50x15 ET Street.

i have bought a 9 inch Dynamic 3800 stall for my car this weekend. does anyone know anything about these converters. If so can someone get me a website or a phone number to get in touch with them. Thanks.

On my previous car i didnt wire in the alternator so the car keep running for a few seconds til the car ran out of gas and cut off. the tracks i race at say this isnt good enough. the car has to cut off immediatly after cutting off the switch. so that means i have to wire in the alternator so...

general rule is a .10 in 60 foot is worth .20 at the end. you would have to get your 60 foot down to atleast 1.70 to run 12 anything. and i dont think your gonna do that with what you have. going to a 4:30 gears isnt gonna do it either. its way too much gear. u might pick up on 60 foot but...

when i bought my car all it had done to it was shorty BBK headers and a catback, so we are guessing i was about 260 rwhp. and i was running 13.90's-14.00's. a good rule of thumb every 50 horsepower is about 1 second in the quarter mile, til you start getting into heavy engine mods and suspension.

what does a stock mustang have from the factory? 250-255???

I have done this switch once before, just wanted some other advice from people that done it before. and what they think afterwards good or bad. what differance did it make at the track, did you gain or lose E.T? Did you gain or lose MPH?

well i have around 350-360 rwhp and you see what im running below, so im guessing that you will run around 12.60-12.70. but thats just a guess, only way to find out is go racing!

ive had a 90 Gt and a 89 GT and both cars had the problem ur talking about. all i did was go into 5th before i went into reverse and it never did grind. maybe its just one of those problems Ford overlooked.

the striker has a plastic bushing around it, check to see if its broken or gone completely. like they said before auto zone sells all the things to fix a door in thier "help" section.

i put 4:10's in my car like 6 months ago and i had the vibration everyone is talking about about 60 mph. they place near me wanted $75 to balance my stock drive shaft so i went ahead and paid $160 for the aluminum and im glad i did. i picked up almost .20 at the track. just my 2 cents.
