You do the trouble light method the same way. Pull negative battery cable. Attach light between negative post and negative cable and see if it lights up. No light, no drain.

Whoa there is no "Fluid coupling" in the Traction lock rear end. It has a clutch pack and they can go bad or get used up. There are other things that can go wrong also. You need to get your car serviced. All GTs come with a traction lock rear end as far as I know. But there maybe an option to...
