why not just get a vortech supercharger and make the same hp for a alot less money and hassle than swapping to a 03 cobra motor.

With a twin screw supercharger you do not need to upgrade the ring and pinion gear, if you chose to get a centrifugal supercharger than a 3.73 is needed. The twinscrew supercharger has so much power down low that adding gears will not help out that much if any and can cause serious traction...

You will definetely feel the C&L plenum even with the stock thorttle body. Not sure how all these upper intake will stack up powerwise in the end, but the C&L will definetly be up there. Good choice.

I bought a club card at the local Turtlewax carwash so in the dead of winter I don't have to worry about freezing my ballz off. Plus the brushes have not did any swirl or damage to my paint and I have been going there well over a year.

Twin screw is the way to go. Less heat which makes it more efficient than the roots style blower.

Looks really good, how much did you get it for? I have a C&L plenum, but does not look as nice as the trickflow. Get some before and after dyno runs.

You can make anything fast if you have the money, even a stupid Jetta. I would get the PI or Patriot heads, Kenne Belle Twin Screw charger, and a good dyno tune. I was at the local drag strip and saw an early 90's S10 running mid 12s.....the S10 did have a built 350 but still.

Where and how did the upper intake dyno tests? Do you have a picture of the divider in the Dragon?

I really doubt those numbers are accurate. I would not trust any of these manufacturer's numbers untill I see a nonbias test on them. All of them are going to claim to be the best. I really do not think there is going to be a big difference in horsepower gains between the different upper intake...

Last fall I went on ebay a purchased a cheap set of used 95 mustang gt rims (16s) and had discount tires mount (4) Dunlop Wintersports M2. I paid less than 600 bucks for everything and my car was very good in the snow and on ice. I was able to accelerate faster off the line (not trying to race)...

I installed my C&L upper intake and love it. Great mod and easy to install...do not overtighten any of the bolts.

I would buy a 99+ GT and put a Kenne Bell supercharger on it. If you get the 9 pounder you will be around 400 rwhp with some exhaust mods.
