So you took the wire in back of the stock tach? I don't get why its not working, the Haynes book is showing that wire comes from the one I put it to from the engine (shown in pic) .. :shrug:

Yea I'm posative I got a wrong wire, anyone know which one the right one is? I got a cheap $6 soldering kit, I'll use it when I get the right wire :(

Thx, I geuss I juss need to ID the "Negative on the coil", I cut the green wire and put that gray wire at the end of it, shouldn't make a difference right? The light works so I'm geussing everything ok but the wire in the pic, is that the negative on the coil? Thx.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong wit my Autometer Tach install. The lights are working and I can set the shift point only when I turn the key all the way around without using the clutch. The it will not read out the RPM! So I;m geussing I'm doing it to the wrong wire? Heres the pic...

Alright just got the car back, guy says it wasn't comin gout because of the ABS senors. Anyone have any experence with this or tips? Says he didn't want to do it cuz they might break because they are rusty.. and their $440 he said. Any advice would be great, thank you!

So I'm installing my new headers and I had about enough of these little setback so I just yank them out... Not good The oil dip sitck came out of the block and the metal piece that connects to a header bolt broke off. Now there are 2 small holes on the dip sitck and its out of the block...

I had the same thing happen to me. I had to drill the holes bigger because it wouldn't line up to my intake manifold. It also did not bring the lower metal part for the TPS to go on, and it sticks :bang:

Just wondering if anyone has done this, place a tachometer in clock pod's place? If anyone has it'll be a great help if you do a quick run down of what you did to hold it in place, fab anything together, screw, glue, double sided tape lol. Just need some ideas here. Thanks alot!

I know you all are going to laugh at me but.. I'm in the middle of my underdrive pulley install and ran into a snag. I removed the 4 bolts from the water pump pulley, and took off the belt but the damn thing won't come off! Same with the crank pulley. I spent the last half an hour trying...

Looking for a good shop to install gears (got 3.73) around Brockton, MA. Found one spot that only installs their parts (asking $240 for gears ....) and then $60 aa hour labor. Was told be around $600. Heard people spending only around $400. Thanks alot.

OT.. I see a couple of you guys have MSD Start buttons, got a link to where I can pick one of those up cheap? That'll def. look baddass in a stang interior.
