I put a 96-98 Cobra cluster in my 96 gt and everything works fine. All I did was use my original boards. Where'd you buy it from? Did it work prior to being in your car?

There are two circuit board type things plugged into the back of the cluster. Take the ones out of your original cluster and stick them in the new one.

I already searched and found nothing. My car has a factory Ford option alarm. It's not the typical keyless entry. There is no box/device behind the paneling in the trunk. There is however a box-like device under the dash and a red led to the left of my steering wheel + a kill switch next...

Great. That's what I wanted to hear. Thanks! As far as "how do I know?" I took it to a shop to find out why my suspension was making so much noise. Turns out I need to replace a lot of things. The rack and pinion is just one. But what can you expect from a car 10 years old?

My rack and pinion is shot, so I need a new one. What do you all recommend? Is it possible to use a Cobra one? If so, what years are compatible? I've searched the topic but haven't realy found any useful information. Maybe I just suck at searching. Thanks!
