your gambling with nice heads or a blower,, either way it's a gamble..Adding great heads to a junk block is just as stressfull.. (not saying your blocks junk) put the flame throwers down now.. I would take the blower though.. If you blow up, you blow up...LOL

I would have to disagree with above, sounds like needs a rebuild.. If you line pressure was high, it would shift harder and in a higher rpm for every gear.. And that would NOT cause a delayed shift and then a bang, that is a slipping clutch.. try changing you fluid a few times. change it once...

yeah, I'll have to change the yoke anyways, got a tremec one now... but I still have the aod one from stock, if it fits...
