Why not just drive your car onto a set of 2x4's for extra ground clearance?Much cheaper than a low profile floor jack!

I did not think the question was really that complicated!!!! All I want to know is what wheel would stick out more past the fenders.A 18x9 with a 24mm offset is not going to sit the same as a 18x9.5 with a 20mm offset.I know the 9.5 w/20mm outside egde of the tire sticks out past the fender...

I just ordered a set of 18x9 with 24mm offset.I am wondering if these will stick out away from the body more or less than the real 18x9.5 20mm??By my calculation I believe the 18x9 24mm outside of the wheel should sit 10.3mm(.405) closer to the centerline of the car.Here is what I come up...
