I just removed the AC compressor and installed the Ford Racing AC delete pully. Now the car won't start. There were 2 plugs that connected to the compressor. Do I need to bypass one of these plugs somehow? Any ideas.....

I understand what you mean. This is actually my second AC clutch in 3 months. So I am figuring that it has something to do with the compressor. I talked to a couple guys and they suggested replacing the whole compressor but I think I would like to just to a delete if I could. I got a second...

Used AC compressor from stangparts? Or AC Delete? Is it a viable idea to buy a used AC compressor at all? Mine is shot and it is $300 or more for a new one :bang: But stangparts has a used one for $90 with clutch. I was also thinking of doing the AC delete but cannot find the part so...

I am figuring that it is the compressor because the car runs fine but as soon as I turn on the defrosters or AC, the car sputters and has a hard time staying at an idle. If I turn either on at highway speeds, I get a burning smell coming through my vents. I don't know much about the AC system...

Do you hear from while you are in the car??? radio on/off?? I know that I actually have a high pitch humming noise that I only hear at idle. I though it was engine but turned out to be exhaust. Had mufflers rewelded and sound got a little quieter so I am not sure where the rest of the noise...
