I'm running behind on my project now because I didn't get my bellhousing installed today. I had indexed it over the weekend and found the bell to be too far right by .019. Ordered up the .021 offset dowls and installed today. Indexed again to find I'm now more than double too far left. WTF...

Just to be sure I'm 100% clear, the only thing you changed was updating the shift lugs and suddenly it can shift to 3rd correct? No pro shifting, no clutch adjustments etc... just the shift lugs. Thanks.

Bringing this one back from the dead, still unsure if TKO500's all have the 3rd gear shift issue, and if it really all is in the clutch adjustment or not. I'm debating between a G-Force T5 and the TKO500 now and can't decide.

Ernan, any update on how you like this trans? Specifically, what RPM are you shifting at, are you shifting it hard and have you experienced any issues with shifting? Thanks,

Are GForce and Astro Performance the same thing? I was looking into a G-Force with their upgraded case & mainshaft along with upgraded shift forks... But it seems G-Force rates their transmissions lower than Astro.

Sorry I meant that the gears are de-burred and heat tempered. The TKO 500 & 600 from MMR both have 26 spline inputs so that's no problem The 2.95 first gear currently have in my T5z already seems useless with 3.73's I can't imagine what a 3.27 1st gear would be like. I'll put a question...

Oh and these MMR "Pro Trans" transmissions are not dogringed or proshifted. The gears are just de-burred and hardened.

FIXED!!! But I don't know what it was. Wiring was ok but I re-did the harness anyways and the fuse was still good but a tiny bit coroded so I replaced it. So between the fuse and re-doing the wiring, (fingers crossed), so far the problem is gone. Hopefully for good. Thanks a bunch for...
