take to muffler shop and have them loosen the exh. manifold/h-pipe nuts. they may charge like 10 bucks, but its worth it. the rest is simple, should just bolt right up

i would say you will get around 230-240 to the wheels if you throw in stock P.I. heads/cams. i would suggest looking on ebay for a set of P.I. heads, then a mild p/p. then go with a modmax cam package that will best suit your needs. and bullitt intake. stick with the 3.73's there an all around...

jack up the rear end, and see how many times the driveshaft rotates when you rotate the wheel once. trey

go to autozone and pick up about 20 cans of desired color paint. wash car thoroughly, then with even strokes, paint the entire car!. this should come out fairly decent.

the difference in the two is not really noticeable at all by the average driver. i would go ahead and get un-equal length b/c cost, and install difficulty. but if ur getting pro. installed, pay the couple bucks more for the equal lengths. they will deliver a little more low/mid range power. trey

try shaking your h-pipe and tail pipes and see if they rattle? i had the same problem, my exhaust hangers were rattling around, and knocking into the gas tank. i just slipped rubber hose over the hangers... and presto! problem fixed. trey

my friend is a student at UTI and now he acts like a master mechanic. he says he is gonna put a 2800 stall converter on his stock 98 gt. that will soon have a 4.10 gear. i told him it was too high, and maybe he should go with no more than 2400 stall w/ a posi diff.! is a 2800 stall too high...

i was told this by the mechanic at the ford dealership? i thought they were all t-45 as well. but was told otherwise by the dealership? maybe he doesnt know n e thing, then again.. he sounded like he knew what he was talkin about, and he is an ase certified master mechanic. trey

what is the difference between the '96-'97 t-45 trans. and the '98 t-50 trans.? i thought 96+ manual transmissions were all the T-45?
