    Runner length does have an affect as to where peak torque will occur,runner cross section has alot to do with flow capabilities which affect total power output,and plenum volume has a smaller combined affect on all thous areas. The exhuast is the same.

    Ford uses a hardened steel alloy,so they should be fine.

    Its possable if you flip it around it might fit better,some H-pipes are "arched" in the center. If not then it would be a issue of it being too long,pushing the tip up into the bumper,if you really like the tail pipes then just work it out and keep them. Exhaust is just piping,lol

    The rockers are plenty strong,its the thru bolts that you might have to worry about. I would probably try and get some ARP bolts,if their not already.

    The MarkVIII is beastly,just make sure you got a controller that can handle the amp spike for start-up. I heard its like 80amps!

    You just said it yourself,a 347 will make more power than a 302 "with small 302" parts.... 30wrhp is closer to 40-50hp at the flywheel He already has aluminum heads invested and an intake that works just fine for a street car,or you can port it to get some more pull out of the top end...

    No. You won't. The 347 will make more power at a lower RPM,idle better and have more vacuum avaliable for power brakes,ect. than the 302 will. NRM90GT,I would look at going with a larger cam and some light clean-up on the heads will be fine.

    Flat tappet cams in theroy should make more torque down low do to the lifter opening acceleration rate is fast for about the first .300 of lift. The down side is the increased friction and the lifters wanna "take off" from the cam lobe do to having to use lighter springs than is roller counter...

    It will be fine for a street car,I think that you'll be real happy with the power it will produce as long as your goal is around 400hp. You could use a little larger cam IMO.

    AOD rebuild questions

    Ok,Im rebuilding a buddies AOD and wanted to see what kinda trouble I might run into,lol. I got it down to the case,and removed the case bushing,most of the sub assembles are still toghter (he had it apart befor I could tear it down) so I gotta check and make sure all the bearings are there...
