Yeah... your clutch isn't gunna SMOKE when you're "cruising at 3000 RPM".. It'll smoke if you stomp on it and it starts spinning, but not just cruising. Maybe check to see if the trans is leaking onto the exhaust. Check to see if the drain and fill plugs are in.

This guy has a 2.3 with Ghetto 20's on it. :lol: So it's an electric fan... Sounds like you need to dump that 2.pee and throw a 5.0 in it.

Sudden loss of oil pressure liek that could either be no more oil in the oil pan (which the low oil light would have came on) or the pump took a crap... or something got stuck up in the oil pump pick up. Time to pull the motor.

It's not a typo.. he's already got another thread about the dyno numbers. Please, post up a picture of your dyno graph so we can see why you got 500 ft/lbs.

I would pull the lifters out and check them if I were you. If it BROKE a stud, that means there was a LOT of binding there. I wouls check it all out before reassembling it.

Holy **** batman. Do you have any reason for that long of a pushrod? THat's a Flat Tappet Cam Pushrod length. Stock roller cam pushrod length is 6.250 inchs. You've got over 1/2 an inch longer pushrods. Those are most likely WAY too long. You need to get a push rod length checking...

Ouch man! I have always been taught to adjust the rocker, then turn it 1/4 of a turn, then LOCK the allen head, then go ANOTHER 1/4 of a turn. This positivly locks that allen head screw into the stud and it won't come loose. Good luck.

Holy Crap!! 30-40 HP... Worst thing to do is to ADD up the manufacturers "advertised" horsepower gains. I'm sure that's what you did. I'd say if the cats are clogged... probably about 20 hp... if everything is in good shape... maybe 5-10 rwhp.. But I'm only speculating.

See, one thing you guys don't see.. with a 3550, half the syncro is part of the gear... I had mine rebuilt... 3rd gear syncro was shot... and you have to replace the GEAR itself... I had a cast iron 3-4 shift fork, new bearings, seals, and 3rd gear syncro replaced... Cost me 730 dollars. Good luck.

My BFG Drag Radials... 275/60/15s dead hooked with a 5000 RPM launch and spraying off the line.... I say they're the ****. But not putting down the MT's... I'm sure they're awesome too.

It will only blow a 170 amp fuse if you pull more then that. I doubt you will pull more hten that. So try it out.
