I would guess its the fuel filter

I just flattened the dust caps slightly with a body hammer for clearance and have had no issues. Just don't go crazy with it to the point that the spindle is rubbing the cap.

a t-5 should be fine, so long as your not expecting to do any launches on slicks or anything of the sort.

after blowing 2 wc t-5s one 2nd gear one 3rd and a g-force i went with a tko 600 and have had zero issues since. the g force blew 3rd and i was already in gear rolling and just mashed it at 3k. i was probably making around 400hp at the time according to the butt dyno.
