I've got a 89 Tropical Yellow coupe. Its says 1of 67.

Replaced the gauge yesterday and that did the trick. The oil pressure went back to normal. Its hard to figure why the gauge would go bad in less than a year but I'm glad that is all it was.

I changed the oil and filter last night but it did not change anything. I'm going to try another gauge tomorrow and go from there. Hopefully it will be the gauge but I have my doubts, its less than a year old.

The car never got above 170 degrees and the oil pressure never went above 40lbs. Also the oil pressure did not rise like it normally does when accelerating.

First off I am using a Autometer mech oil pressure gauge. Normally when I start my car up in the morning my gauge reads between 55-60 psi. Well this morning it only read 40psi. The car has been sitting for about a week or so and its been pretty cold but this morning it was about 38 degrees out...

If you want to run the MT Et Fronts you will probably want to go with the 26x4.5-15 part #3007. If the car is going to be driven on the street these tires are probably not the best choice.

How much fluid did you put in it? It is possible it is blowing fluid out of the vent.

Has anyone used the afco 80101fn (27 1/2 x19) with a stock clutch fan setup? I notice on one reply it might be some clearence issues.

I would rebuild the stock traction loc unit. Use Ford Motorsport part #m4700b should retail for around $50. I went the Auburn route a few years back and ended up wasting about $400 when it was all said and done.

I do not think it would be a good idea to use the solid motor mounts with the solid trans. mount. I have seen several people try this and have problems. With that set-up you have no give what so ever. I would use the solid motor mounts with a Energy Suspension trans. mount.

I been thinking about getting the 2.5 pro dumps. Anybody have any opinions on them good or bad. Right now I have 2.5" two chamber flowmasters without tailpipes.

All aod equipped cars had a transmission cooler run into the rad from the factory. Of course an aftermarket one like the one pictured above will help you.

I noticed in you modification list you did not list a torque converter. That would probably be the next purchase I would make. My converter picked me up 3 tenths. (1/8 mile)

Please just get a 40 series flowmaster!!
