Agreed!! We're limited to 91 octane here, but the Steeda CAI (X3 tune) made a huge improvement ... as did the springs ... and the sway bars. Now it drives more like a sports car. :D

Exactly! I had an electric sunroof put in my '04 GT--the dealer loved the condition of that car when it was turned back in.

You can lease a fully equipped GT, and then do some minor mods to still end up with a pretty good ride. I arranged for my '07 GT to come with 20" wheels and Nitto 555s, then I put on Eibach springs, Magnaflow axle-back, sway bars, and a CAI w/tune. Its a blast to drive! I'm not looking to...

I have the same package as PoopDawg and do like it a lot. My one criticism is of the shift knob. It looks great, but even though it's aluminum, it's freezing cold in winter when you get in the car, and it's burning hot in summer!

I started going through those withdrawals not long after I got my '04 GT automatic -- my right arm made phantom shifts all the time. I finally broke down last year and swapped for an '07 manual (and love it!) Depending on how you look at it, that could be more or less complicated than changing...

I had an '04 GT automatic, but I hated not being able to shift gears. So I traded for an '07 GT manual. DarkFireGT is right on about the differences between the cars--I had no idea. Because the wheelbase is a little longer and because the front wheels are now right at the front of the car...

Postscript: well, the Magnaflows and the Eibachs are in; the car rides, sounds, and looks so much better -- wife didn't even notice the changes. :cheers:
