ok, im getting ready to yank the sob sunroof out...and that little drain "gutter" around it is rusted pretty bad on the front 2 corners....my question is would it be already to clean up the rust the best i can, and then put POR 15 on it all and go ahead and cover it up??? also if anyone has...

it rusted pretty bad on over the drivers seat so i know i would have a lot of work to do...i might just have the body shop mess with it

ok...im sure those of you who have a sun roof know about the drain tray (i guess thats what its called) around the sunroof with the drain tubes.....what would YOU do if its rusted pretty bad??? thats the problem im having so i wanted some options about what to do. Mike

only odd thing...when i did that to my 5.0 while it was running...sob kept running...barely but it kept running and i was like wtf!??! all the others i have done it to died out no problem.

to get it out, why dont you trip the cut off switch and then crank it a few times...that should work too.

if you have an airbag make sure they are for it. i learned the hard way

its more like the holes are too big...but im not worried about it, im gonna get a ford one....not aftermarket...havent been to lucky with that stuff.

14 i would say has to do with tfi and or distributor...not sure about all those mods but thats where i would start.
