My car doesn't start building boost until about 3000RPM and maybe hit 8 or 10 psi by like 4800-5000RPM in 1st, never above 5psi in any other gear/rpm???? :shrug: Wastegate Actuator????

Both cars run. 87 TC with 100K on the clock (has great compression) clean title and 87 LX Coupe clean title and registered 87K on the clock (both are decent cars) I purchased the two to do a conversion and struggled to get a title for the Stang for the longest time:mad: , now that is ironed...

I considered it (and may keep it), but I just took on a new postion at work and I don't really have the time to play right now :( Besides the LX falling through was a little dissappointing....and I don't want to make habit of that right now..... BTW Your TC is a very cool ride :nice:

My 87 TC might have to go...with all the parts Complete running car 106K with new clutch. (runs great) Body is in decent shape ( no rust, some dents...nothing major ) Engine has great compression (150 across the board) Yes, exhaust manifold has a crack in it. Extra parts: 2 large Vams...

red lx: I switched over to premium (switch) :p and got a pretty good response...still only about 10PSI ratrapp2:5spd...thanks for the advice I will check those components out

From what I've been reading, the IHI starts to fall off after 4500-5000 RPMS...is this possibly what I'm experiencing? Sorry, new to the turbo world...Every supercharger I had pulled all the way to redline?

NooB????s I just got my 87 TC today, the idle is kind of rough.....but gets better when it reaches OP Temp. What should I see for Vac at idle and what RPM? One thing I noticed is, it builds boost (up to 10PSI by around 2500-3500) but then starts to fall off way before redline WOT. I've...

I would think it pulls timing out under boost??? Could you run a MSD BTM with a TC ECU and get any benefits from it? I got a large VAM today....but concerned the plastic top that covers the solid state (spring and connectors) feel off....soemone had taped it together. Will a 87-88 TC VAM...
