    Should I get the manual

My last GT was a manual and had I not had to choose from dealer stock when my was lease was up, I would have gotten another instead of the auto in my '11. So without bias, I say this automatic is definitively fantastic. Performance surprisingly parallels a late model AMG sedan and with 6...

    Tire Reccomendations for 2006 GT

Wow, if I had the benefit of living in an area with those type of temps, i would be running z-rated tires all year. I'm waiting for it to warm up so I can finally even put z-rated tires on. the stock p-zeros are good for an all-season, but lets be honest, they're no summer tire.

    18s or 20s???

no offense on the windveil comments, gunmetal/charcoal rims set the color off just right. it's just nothing's as sinister as black, especially not powder blue :p

    18s or 20s???

The 2nd car isn't even a GT plus it features one of the softest colors available on the Mustang and it still looks better! But at least compare apples to apples my friend. How about posting 2 GT's, one with 18's razors and another with 20" razors. The difference is considerable.

    18s or 20s???

20's over 18's all day if you can afford it. There are so many lightweight options available plus 20's allow enough sidewall on your tires to maintain a respectable level of ride comfort as well. Don't be fooled by some of these ultra conservative all-go, no-show muscle car freaks and baby...

    Ponybuilder Site = Fun!

ha, good post! I was just on this last night it was surprisingly good. The wheels need some work although I do admit it is cumbersome to photochop rims accurately from the view they chose.

    Shelby GT: reserve not met

totally understandable. For the past few months, I've been feigning to get a new GT or a low mileage Saleen as my daily driver (except for michigan winter of course). My issue is that I would have to spend a lot of money out of the box to get a stock GT to where I need it to be not only in...

    Shelby GT: reserve not met

I saw one of these at a dealer for the first time today and I was shocked at just how great it looked in person. I had originally wrote this car off. If I could get the 0% financing and a few thousand knocked off MSRP, I would take it off their hands in a heartbeat based on the stance and...

    How to fit 12's

instead of running two 12's, i'm going with one 12" sub in a 2 ft vented enclosure behind the rear seats. I previously ran two 12" Orion XTR subs in an extremely small sealed box and the bass just wasn't loud enough. i'm hoping to get better results with this new sub and better box.

    Q-Forms in a 5 speed?

I've been meaning to pick these up for a minute for my 5 spd GT. Having these would allow for a 3-way soundstage in the front with either a 7" or 8" driver in each door. I found these pics online and the fit doesn't look like it would be that bad although these are from a 1999 V6 auto:

springs, c/c plates, shocks/struts, rims, tires

man it's like you're inside my mind right now, I'm in the middle of purchasing the exaxt set-up except I got 18" 03 Cobra replicas. i'm also thinking about picking up front control arms but we'll see.

    Mustang Seats?!?!?!

Corbeau actually has some solid prices too compared to Sparco. Both the CR-1 and TRS are very cozy and I'm definitely considering buying a set of either to replace the stock seats in my GT. I think this color would actually match better than some of the black seats on the market because the...
