    New gas tank

Thanks guys! I was wondering about the seam myself. Could it also be the rubber gaskets under the metal rings that hold the fuel level sensor? That was the area I think it may have been coming from. Install on the new tank was very easy! I didn’t have to wrestle it in. Hopefully I was not...

    New gas tank

Thanks for the advice! When I say leaking, I mean pouring! I still have half a tank to burn through before I drop the tank. The amount that poured out was shocking. The fuel neck grommet was dry and it was pouring from a different spot. I’ll definitely take a look at it when I drop the tank.

    New gas tank

It's been a very long time since I have posted. My fox, that I have had since 2000 had some rott on the passenger side shock tower. The old 302 was also leaking from the rear main. I pulled the motor and had the shock tower fixed. Since the motor was out, I decided to put in a 331 stroker...

    Lower Intake To Head Gasket

That looks almost spot on!!!! I think my gasket may have hung over the port more. I'll try to get ahold of the better gaskets.

    Lower Intake To Head Gasket

Sorry, I don't. I took the gaskets off. All the other runners were perfect. Just the front two were melted. Since those fuel injectors are at the front, I was wondering if they were starving of fuel and ran hot bc they are lean.

    Lower Intake To Head Gasket

Hey guys, It's been a long time since I posted. I was taking my lower intake off to put a ported lower on. Once I got the intake off, I think it's the number 1 and 5 cylinders (the two front) the runners on the heads were half covered with the lower intake gasket. It looked melted. What...

BBk x pipe wont bolt up to bbk headers

My BBK X-pipe didn't fit the stock headers or the BBK headers I bought. I got sick of the X-pipe leaking, so I got a MAC H-pipe and the problem was fixed. BBK is junk, I bought their fuel pressure regulator and it broke after 2,000 miles. The regulator was more than a year old so they would...

    Chronic valve ticking,.....please help

I have the same problem with my setup. I have changed header gaskets multiple times and have taken my car to an exhaust shop to check for leaks, it never has any. I have come to the conclusion the rockers are loud and I have to deal with it. I have also lashed my rockers a few times.

    Aluminum Driveshaft question

Hey guys, I just put in a Tremec TKO 500, I think it's time for a new drive shaft. I see that the FMS comes with a 28 spline yoke, can I just swap my 31 spile yoke with that driveshaft? Is there a drive shaft I can order that comes with a new 31 spline yoke? Excuse my ignorance if this is a...

    Update With Fuel Issue

I initially thought I had a bad regulator, it only had 2500 miles on it. I then replaced the BBK with a Kirban and it ran for about 10 seconds at normal fuel pressure then sky rocketed again. I had to take the car to the shop to have them replace the fuel pump, they were the ones who told me...

    Update With Fuel Issue

I finally figured out what my problem was last week. As some of you may remember, my car was flooding out and the gauge was pegged at 80 PSI. Well, my fuel pump broke and was pumping at max capacity which blew my regulator out, which saturated my charcoal (sp) canister, and all the excess...

    Fuel Pressure Problem

I haven't been able to catch codes yet. I was going to scan it last fall, I was letting it warm up when I saw the pressure. I immidiately shut the car down and figured it was the FPR. To scan the car it has to warm up according to the instructions I received with the scanner, it doesn't run...

    Fuel Pressure Problem

Thanks for the replies guys! I do still need to try to adjust the regulator more, but when I turn the car over the FP goes up to 80, after I stop turning the key the FP rests at 40. We did get it to adjust down to 70 before the car flooded out. Before we started working on the car, the gauge...

    Fuel Pressure Problem

Hey guys, last fall my car began to run like trash instantly while I was driving it. I was going to scan the computer when I noticed my fuel pressure gauge was reading 80 PSI. Long story short, I just put my new regulator on and hooked my gauge to the schrader valve instead of directly to the...
