    Engine stalls when put in gear...

    It's a 2.3 with an automatic tranny in a '88 coupe with speed density... all stock... Starts and idles fine but when put in gear, the engine dies immediately... I'm thinkin maybe a vacuum leak? I put this in the 2.3 section but it seems to be pretty dead over there... Figured you 5.0 guys...

    A little more info.... The key turns freely, all the way forward, all the way back, so that lock isnt engaging at all... The door open "ding" doesnt start until the key is in and turned... Come on guys...Any ideas?
