    Custom Exhaust Question

I really dont feel like moving to go get an estimate from a shop, so I figured I could get one from here. Right now I am running Flowmasters, dumped right after the muffler. How much do you guys think a shop would charge to rig up a custom side exhaust?

    Painting Intake Plaque

I've been searching for a thread I found a while back detailing how to go about painting the intake plaque. Now that I have my plaque off and want to paint it, I can't find the thread. So, umm, yeah, any pointers, such as sanding, type of paint, blah blah? Anyone have pics of their painted...

    SeaFoam Oopsie

Yep, directly down into the brake booster. :) That's what I understood to do, until I started thinking and was like WTF.

    SeaFoam Oopsie

OK, so after some reading on here, it seems when I was using the seafoam I bought, I put it in the wrong side of the brake booster line, meaning, I disconnected the hose from the vacuum tree, not the booster, and let the seafoam get sucked up that way. Did I screw my car up? If you check my...

    Smokeless Seafoam

This might make me sound we-todd-did but I've been thinking about something. When I ran it, I pulled the hose off of the vacuum tree and fed it down into the brake booster. Is this right? Would anything happen if I pulled the hose off of the booster and the seafoam flowed the direction of the...

    Smokeless Seafoam

Thanks man, I did notice the slightest of improvements, but I wasn't sure if it was just in my head. I feel slighted, though, I wanted the smoke. Is that so wrong??

    Smokeless Seafoam

Just finished running Seafoam through my 94 GT's brake booster line. After letting it sit a while, per instructions, I started it up, anxiously waiting on the smoke show. There was none. :( I have 144,000 miles on my car, so I was expecting to have the fire dept. called on me, but there...

    Chevy Malibu

Some ******* in a '78 or so Malibu with no hood or air cleaner keeps driving up and down my street, trying to rev his engine, it won't even stay running. He's been doing it for an hour or so :fuss: If I had a hand grenade....

    Minor little problem

OK, here's a strange problem. I went out to kill some time cleaning my car and noticed that one of the little grilles in the cowl panel wasnt there, that it had come off and was rattling around down there. Any suggestions on how to attach that back to the panel, either adhesive or wire or just...

    Tune Up Question

i went ahead and replaced the cap and rotor with an MSD kit. the car is long due for an tuneup (142,000 miles, maybe one tuneup). here is where my questions arise, should i pay 70 or 80 dollars for MSD wires, 50 for Taylor or 20 or below for OEM? I know in my heart that motorcraft or similar...

    Tune Up Question

one more quick related question, there isnt any need to reset the computer after replacing the distributor cap and rotor, is there?

    Tune Up Question

The engine, for now, is stock. There are minor minor mods, O/R H-pipe, flowmasters, K&N, Ford Racing C Springs. The engine internals will remain stock, that is, until something blows and needs replaced.

    Tune Up Question

I'm starting a tuneup on a stock 5.0. This engine will always be stock. What is there to gain from using 'high performance' spark plug wires, such as MSD or Taylor? Would OEM wires be suitable for a daily driver?

    MSD/Taylor

Sure this is simple, but I can use taylor wires on an MSD cap, right? :stupid:

    Another Idle Screw Question

I did search and I did read every thread that came up, but I still have one question. My car hasnt ran in a week and I'm pissed. I replaced the TPS, the battery, and cleaned the MAF and the IAC, it still wouldnt idle. It would crank, but wouldnt even start without giving it gas. After adjusting...
