I dont know if you have started your project yet but I have a few pointers if you are going to use the comp engineering weld in connectors. If you read there instructions included with the weld in connectors they say you must use there formed frame rails to do so. 1. Your comp slide a links if...

Moving Leaf Springs inward with new subframe connectors

To much angle is not a problem as much as the leafs being parallel This is the reason when you buy a relocation kit and you relocate the front mounts to the inside of the existing rails which generally move the springs in about 2.5 to 3.0 inches or so and all they supply you with for the rear...

Moving Leaf Springs inward with new subframe connectors

Leaf springs should not be parallel they should be angled out at the back. If they are not the back end of the car will not track right ken

    Mustang II front suspension questions

Thats interesting. I have the R&C set up in my 68 and it has 2" dropped spindles and the car is really low. I believe I will have to swap them for the regular spindles because it sits to low. ken

How do I hook up 600hp?

I would call Calvert Racing back because there is no reason that they would have suggested using those front springs and those (front) shocks. There own 90-10 shock is way better then those comp e shocks, Unless there was a strange specific reason to use what you have listed?????

How do I hook up 600hp?

weight transfer, When you launch the car you need to transfer as much weight as possible to the rear tires Hence you want the front end to travel upwards this accomplishes transferring the weight to the rear tires so they do not spin. Stiff front suspensions do not transfer weight very well...

How much HP will a C4 hold?

 NO!!!! Just rebuilding a junkyard c4 aint going to cut it if your making 500 lb ft of torque. Check out Performance auto and they list the mods they do to there trannys. Way beyond what most can do in there own garage, and most of the parts they use are not stock c4 parts. Do some...

Some suggestions, some have all ready been mentioned, Leafspring car def go with the cal tracs, they work awesome Change your front coil springs. The ones you have are way to stiff. No sway bar. You can always disconnect it front shocks, You would be best to use a true 90/10 shock...

Opinions: R302, Dart, World or Boss

Read my post again! I did not state anything about the length of the cylinder wall, just that it was not a problem in a stroker application. If the length is different then ok! what I took from the thread was it was not a problem in a stroked application. ken
