Does anyone know what type of wrench or tool it takes to change the grill insert(mustang to a cobra one)? It looks like a torx bit only with a raised portion in the middle. Is this a special ford tool? I haven't been able to find out what it will take to remove it yet. What do I need? Thanks.

Try a product called ENGINE ICE. Its a purple liquid that you do not dilute. I use it in my motorcycles (that have a digital thermostat) and it made about a 12 degree difference in normal running and in traffic the fan NEVER came on again. I did this on a Suzuki gsxr 1000 and a Honda 929 rr...

Gotta love ebay. I know tons of people that have been getting rims off of there and so far the quality has been excellent. The only descripancy has been the center caps, they have either been kinda cheezy or not looked lke the ones in the picture. But when you save $500 or more off a 10.5...

The $900.00 price is for all 4 not just the rear, just wanted to tell you the width since you asked. The fromt is 8 or 9 in wide. The polished ones are almost the same price, so definately spend the extra $30 or so...you'll be glad you did when you wash them :nice:

Look on ebay under mustang parts. You can get chrome 18x10.5 for the rear delivered to your door for under $900.00. They are cobra "r" look a likes and come with a warrenty. Gotta live ebay!!!

:barf: The 98 for sure, just don't get so excited that you take any offer for your wrx. One thing at a time..even if it doesn't sell right away....there could be a mystic with a supercharger waiting for you that cost's the same. Good luck, hope it all works out and makes you happy!!!

I read from magnaflow that the x pipe actually quiets the exhaust(db) becaus it causes less turbulance and increases flow...what do you guys think as far as cats or not to have them if pollution control allows for off road setup?
