I just figured it out, I put a little wheel bearing grease in between the spacer and the rim. and the spacer and the hub and wham no noise :) I suspect that the aluminum spacers were moving just enough, when I as cornering to make noise. :damnit: but I appreciate everyones help :nice:

yes it will, but I would stay far far away from the tremec 3650 they all suck in my opionion. you may save 1,000 right now but I would get a TKO or a 6 speed. good luck

Be carefull if your car is out of gear and the noise goes away when you depress the clutch it could be a input shaft bearing I found this out the expensive way :damnit:

Here is my opionion. I never have problems with the cops as you can see by the two pics one is my cobra "no front plate" the other is my tbird "no front plate and 63 plate on the rear" I have been driving both of these cars for a couple years and no probs. I even forgot to get tabs for 6 months...

my last post must have not gone thru I have my 01 cobra in the shop right now they said if is only the input shaft bearing it will be $500 if they have to replace gears and syncros its $1000 worst case scenario I have a tremec 3650 in the cobra but I had the same prob on a ranger 5 speed I think...

I know I will get flamed but here is my opionion the 96-98 are ok the 99 was better it still had hp issues the 2001 2002 are very cool except the trans and the 03-04 are the best I also think the 94-95 are cooler than the 96-98 just because of the 5.0 thing

It could be the input shaft bearing that is what I am going thru with my 01 cobra I thought it was throw out but it was input shaft bearing same symtoms

Update, well what a differance one day makes I hooked up with a buddy who's dad own's a tranny shop they will r&r and rebuild worst case sceniario $1000 out the door but they said more like $500 so now all I have to fix is my 83vert tranny and my 63tbird tranny. yes I know kind of weird huh so...
