    Windscreen Wiper Arm

For my 68 I just wrapped some electrical tape around the jaws of a pair of vise-grips, adjusted the "pinch" carefully and they just wiggled off. LOTS of little wiggling and maybe 30 seconds per. No tabs, no wedging.

    68 Coupe Wiper Clunk

I CAN relate. My surgery was at 39 and I'm 52. Doc says maybe one more and then no more hauling refrigerators down steps or cement bags out back. (I haven't told him about the snowmachineing yet.) But what do they know?? Thanks again. :SNSign:

    68 Coupe Wiper Clunk

Well, its at the paint shop right now and I'm the one doing the tear-down and reconstruct, so I'll get myself on my back and check it out. That idea of a nut coming loose rather than a motor melt-down sure sounds good to me! If it's not a crazy bother, I'd appreciate a photo but I feel a little...

    68 Coupe Wiper Clunk

On those few occasions when I'm forced into using my wipers, I hear what sounds like a rythmic "clunk" coming from under the dash (left side - way high up), where I'm afraid the motor is. Does anyone have any words of optimism for me or any reason not to suspect that either the arms are bent or...

Can't get drum spindles off of lower A-arms

I had mine off and was beating the living crap out of the end of the spindle with no luck. :bang: Whale on the A-arm, not the end of the spindle. I had mine off but couldn't get it apart, stuck it in my saddlebags and rode 25 miles in the rain to the nearest Mustang shop where the mechanic hit...

    68 Coupe Lights

Hi Folks- My painter needs my front running lights and I'm at work. My 68 coupe is 2500 miles south of me and the nearest Mustang of any sort is at least 300 miles south. Does anyone have a picture of their 67 or 68 that shows a front corner so that I can pick out the lights and therefore...

    Water Pump Bolts

My upper-driver's side bolt on the water-pump of my 68 302 feels like its stripped out the threads in the timing chain cover. This is one that goes through and sticks out just a tad. Should I tap a larger thread size or put a smaller diameter bolt through and put a nut on the back. (I think this...

    Door Speakers

My 68 coupe is definitely not the delux model. At present it is away at the painter and all of my door internals are in a shed out back of my house. Whenever the century rolls around that my car is returned to me, I'm going to see what my possiblities are. I definitely want it to look clean and...
