    I'm referring to the Tremec T-56 made for the 5.0. I didn't know FRPP made the T-56 though. This is a 94-98 Turbocharged Mustang with 2.73 stock gears? I'm willing to upgrade my rear end gear to whatever the T-5 was calibrated for or just speedo gears. But even with the 'correct' rearend...

    Do the T-5 manual transmission use oil pans? I know the fill capacity is usually much much less than an auto's. So, do they have oil pans? I've never looked under a manual car so i wouldn't know.

    98_stang_guy: Junkyard is the only way you could do it for $900 or even less. I actually helped the guy remove it since the donor vehicle just came in and was in the open, that way i'd understand how everything would be put back together. Yep, same here bellhousing won't clear the underside...

    Removing AODE

    Doing the swap myself(no labor $). I'd say it can be done for $900 for all the parts including transmission. THis is assuming you have a full toolsetw/extensions and sockets to get in the tight spots.
