Go with the strut tower brace. With the new gears, a hard launch could twist the car for 180 bucks, you could save your self a lot of money in the future.

Was Mr sally Running when you were there?? Oyster bed has died over the last few years, but there are still a few hardcore fans.

Definitley have the heads planed. get all the pits and pocks out of them. in the long run it could save you a cracked block.

I had the same issue with 1st gear. I found going from neutral to first was a major hassle. Dropping into second first and then into first fixed the issue. It became such a habit that i do it with every standard now.

I havent seen anthing about frame strengthening.. Take a piece of advice. Put sub frame connectors on the car and strut tower brace. Other wise, the first time you come onto gas, you're gonna twist your car. I never paid attention, dropped a 5.0 HO from a 79 T-bird into my 88 LX...
