not to steal the thread, but i also have removed the ac, smog, cats, tailpipes and an a few other things....how much weight do u think that i have removed? i also removed the condensor and all ac lines when doing the ac delete......
i have heard that u need a 5spd crossmember to do an aod to t5 swap.....a buddy of mine did the swap and said that anyone who told me that was an idiot.......i got on 5.0 resto and only found one crossmember do they only list one because the new one is adjustable for either a 5spd or aod or what?
theres a really good chance that im goin to swap a t5 into my mustang and i was wondering what the cheapest way that i can do it is....and aprox how much money im going to hve to spend

recently started drivin my mustang again and i think my overdrive is goin out.....when movin down the road in overdrive if i get into it it will go up from 2300 to about 2800 for a sec then drop back down to like 2500 i have a non lockup converter and a shift kit.......i know it didnt slip at...
buddy of mine built the suspension of a 91 hatchback and 4.30 gears, and a stock motor other than explorer intake, TB, and longtubes and eliminated everything but the alt and waterpump on the motor and ran 8.30 1/8th mile times easily

buddy has a stock 5.0 shortblock with an anderson B-31 cam stage 2 twisted wedge heads and a track heat ported intake....thats along with 1.6rockers and a few other things and it runs damn good its probably a solid low 12 high 11 car
a friend of mine has a set of crane cams gold roller rockers that he currently has on a set of trickflow twisted wedge heads.....he told me that he would sell them for 100$ i was wondering if they will fit my stock heads and if so does anyone know if they will clear the valve covers?
