    GT's hold their value a lot better than the sixes. Keep in mind that a lot of us buy our stangs used, so after a couple years that gap widens a lot.

    Meineke did the same thing to me, well they quoted me $700 even. Yes they are trying to rape you. I went to a local (non chain) shop and had everything done, parts and labor, for $300 out the door. Shop around!

    Oh yeah, sorry, about the price. I went through the muffler shop on everything. they ordered the flows for me for like 75 a piece, and then custom did all the tubing themselves. They charged me a flat 300 bucks for everything. Personally I reccomend not wasting your time with online sites...

    In 2001 were the stock hoods on the V6 and the GT the exact same hood? The only difference being that the GT had a non functioning hood scoop bolted on top of it.
