You can go with a 285/40-17 if your worried that's what I did with 10.5s. There not quite a big as the 315's but they don't look out of place.

The tire manufacturer suggests a rim any were from 9 to 11 inches for that tire. and the over all width of the tire is 10.9 inches, so may be it might seam a little small for the rim its really right in the middle of the range. I plan on running a 245/45-17 on the front on a eight inch rim...

So maybe some thing like 275/40-17 on 17 x10.5 in the rear and 245/45-17 on 17 x 9 on the front is your car with the 315's lowered in the rear at all ? Thanks Richard
