    There was a Mach 1 site that tested the SLP, MagnaPack and Bassani cat back. Cant find it now but I remember that @ 3000 that SLP was 103 db! I will keep looking for it. -Kevin

    If they are points the 0 your at now is the stock 10* of timing. The +10 would be 20*.

    I dont know if you are referring to the VT or not but if you are I think there the only cams that I have herd of that have NEVER had an issue with PTV clearances. Although it seems like Comp has there 270’s worked out.

    I believe that there are two different bolt patterns on the fly wheels ( 8.5” and an 11”, I think the 2000 and 01 had both but I might be wrong about the years.

    Well the swirl dams are kind of like bumps. I would not worry to much about a CR of 10. I think they only take out like .5 also, but your fine at 10. Just run higher octaine and you will make a bit more power.

    I would do some reading on MD and make sure that Comp has the PTV contact worked out with the 270's. I would go with the VT Stage 2's, I am once I get some $$$ back!

    Downshifting

    Stangsgrl- you dont just want to slip out the clutch but blip the gas for a smooth down shift. That is what I do unless I going into a corner REAL hot and have to heal/toe it.

    I would say the bottom is +-2" so it would be 1" lower then stock.

    Steeda UD pulleys here and no problems. I felt some gain from them also.

    if it is the same as the viper then it has different number of splines on one of the sides (think its the input side) that the ford t56. other than that and the bell housing I think you will be set.
