rok11, sorry to be the one to tell you, but many of us put our orders in in May and have yet to be assigned VINs. Your dealer can let you know when its got one. Call him every Thursday day and ask for your vin. As of Wednesday, I only have a partial VIN and no prod/deliv. date. You may get lucky...

if you've got the time/patience, the best time to buy a 2005 stang would be when they release the 2006 special editions. Then all the guys like myself will be selling our gt's to get the SE's. Patience is money, some have more of one than the other. good luck, and dont let yourself get sucked...

Looks great. Only thing I might do different is move the Graphics lower. They seem to interupt the lines of the car. Otherwise, nice ride.

I agree with ponyboy on this one. The gto is nfg. The bike option is also not a great idea. I did the bike thing and what you save in expenses you lose to bad weather and close calls :notnice: that make you realize what life is worth. Don't get me wrong, but bikes are great for pleasure cruises...

I was driving by the ford plant on the QEW saturday and saw all the old stangs so I thought I'd pop by and check it out. I was elated to see the 2005 there. I agree with many that it looks better in person. I only wish I got a chance to hear the drive up, but I was 2 late. Legend lime is alright...

fyi...eleanor was painted mineral grey according to a source at ford. It is quite distinguishable from ds grey when parked side by side.

You should look into buying one from Canada. I think you'll find it cheaper in the exchange/price aspect.
