Well, with the 96-98s and 8psi...it's hit or miss. Some break, some don't..... Seriously suggest SOLID tune and look for pistons and rods. Daily, it'll be really fun...almost too fun. ;)

Cams cost so much because there are 4 of them.....Crower offers quite a few options.....400...that's not going to be easy IMO. Toss a 100 shot on and call it a day ;) crappy pistons and rods too....

It depends on what you want out of an exhaust. do you want something that's mellow until you get on it or do you not care and want as much horsepower as possible?

I picked up my 96 for 10,000. Another difference between the 96s and the 97-98s is the 96s don't have the adjustable side support in their seats, just the lumbar. The seats are worthless anyway as you'll find out the first time you go sliding off.

You're going to be hard pressed against a camm'd LS1 to start with. Drag runs or street? The first thing I'd do is throw a 4.10 or 4.30 in and some Crower cams. You can bore the engine out but stroking takes away rev speed which is something OHC's rely on a lot more than pushrod...

My searching skills are lacking today. I'm replacing the clutch with a Centerforce DF and I figured I might as well go with an aluminum flywheel and driveshaft while I'm at it. Problem is, I don't know if my 1996 4.6L DOHC is a 6 bolt or 8 bolt. Anyone help me out? Thanks

And the damn fuse is fine. :mad: So, its a 1996 Cobra and they just stopped working one day. Is there a switch, or something else that could have failed? Again, turn signals don't turn on, Hazards don't turn on and only the center brake light works. Thanks for any help.

I'm trying to figure out which gauges that autometer makes most closely resemble the white Cobra gauge faces day and night. Is it the C2s or the Lunars? BTW, colorblindness is a bitch.

I'll check the U-joints for play this after noon. If I have play in them, I guess I just need either new joints or an aluminum shaft :-)

This seems a bit excessive and has recently shown it's head. I would think that something is either worn or wearing out. So, to fix this, I would basically rebuild the rear end?
