Ok, so my recently rebuilt 302 is getting horrible gas mileage (about 12 is the best I've had) on 2.70s and a rebuilt C4. 302 .030 over Edelbrock Performer Intake, Cam, Lifters, 650 CFM Carb ( All from a kit ) Pertronix Flamethrower I don't get it. :shrug:

so all (or most at least) pistons today are hypereutectic?

i'm really not sure what these are. the only difference i can find between them and cast iron is that they're made of some aluminum alloy or something...what are everybody's thoughts/opinions on these? does anybody have a link with some information about them? thanks

hmm, well what heads would you suggest?

yeah i know the heads aren't the best (probably the worst haha) but for now i'm not looking to make a beast :)
