Yea Ive only had one problem with a 7.5 because it was a bad rear to start with other then that i really never had to use them Ive always had an 8.8 lying around. It definatly is a good rear Just not in the way higher hp range 400+ and its lighter then the 8.8 Also what gears are you going...

You mean like the older body turbo coupes. The one that has the two bolt flange and the hose going to the throttle body? I have one from an 86 turbo coupe if you need. Ill let it go for 20 bucks shipped to your door

yes black pony is right and silver pony doesnt know what he is talking about. They will hold up Just fine. 83-86 turbo coupes all came with a 3:45s 7.5 rear I wouldnt recomend those. But in 87-88 they came with an 8.8 the five speed turbo coupes gearing was 3:55s in the autos it was 3:73s. But...
