PCV delete causing smoke and white cream on oil filler cap

Hi everyone, After experiencing oil accumulation issues inside my boost pipe / discharge tube, I decided to give the PCV delete trick a try. I therefore connected both valve cover tubes to a catch can that I wanted to vent. After a test drive, I noticed that the car sometimes skipped under...

Too much pressure - Oil getting out of catch can

To the top... More details just in case the problem description wasn't clear enough. 1) I installed a new home-depot version catch can on the passenger side, between the PCV and the throttle body 2) It partly works, I can see oil getting inside the can 3) But the throttle body is...

    Should I start worrying?

A quick update... I cleaned everything (discharge tube, boost pipe, filter, MAF) and installed 2 catch cans: 1 on each side. After a 5 km ride and 4 full accelerations from 30 to 80 mph: - there are 2-3 ml of oil inside the passenger catch can - the catch can on the driver side is empty...

    Should I start worrying?

My 1 year Vortech old installation started leaking this week. I noticed some oil on my garage floor, there's oil coming out of my filter. I took the boost pipe out and took some pictures: Oil on the floor, after 1 week not driving it: Video: http://www.xcessiv.net/Vortech.wmv...

Ultimate Detailing Machine vs Porter Cable 7424

So both are pretty good, I can't go wrong with any of them?

    Paintaint OEM Bullitts

That's exactly my opinion. All base coats are flat/satin... But I'm not a pro so I don't know if this concept applies to wheel spray painting.

Ultimate Detailing Machine vs Porter Cable 7424

Which one is the best in your opinion? I heard bad things concerning the reliability of the UDM, but there's apparently a 2nd generation which resolves this.

    Stock heads/block/clutch/rear end/tranny '01 GT runs 11.65 @ 120.5 mph

I'm at work without access to my speed calculator but from what I remember: 26" slicks + TR3650 + 4.10 gear + 120.5 mph ~= 6300 RPM. My 26" slicks are brand new and measure 26.2-26.3" which means 6250ish RPM.
