Im talking to a guy on another board who's selling his 96 coupe w/ the exact same mileage (full exhaust/gears) for $8K. Being a year newer, a convertible, AND from a dealer....yours seems pretty good. However, I'd go private seller for these cars if I were you, always cheaper. Good luck.

As strange as it sounds, I need a car for only the next 3-4 months. With that, Im looking @ a 99 GT coupe w/ 145K miles on it. Granted Im only going to have it for a few months....but how reliable are the 4.6's with that many miles???? Thanks in advance.

ABSOLUTELY. I can't stand posers. I've only talked to the owner about the basics. As soon as I decide which one I want, I will research it further. Neither car has had any kind of damage/problems from what I've been told. Advertised @ 12.5K for the 01 and 12.7K for the 00.

245-250rwhp The MAC CAI is garbage and can actually hurt performance. Chrome-platted CAI's soak up engine bay heat like flies to rotting meat and act like an oven, heating the air entering the engine (which kills performance). The BBK H isn't really going to offer a big gain, mostly...

I've heard a few people who have said that they unbolted their stock catbacks for sound. I have the stock catback and want something a bit throatier until I get my exhaust swapped. What exactly does "unbolting the catback" entail? Thanks in advance.

I want to get the tails tinted. I have an extra pair of taillights so I figured I'd just take those to where I got my windows done and have them tint them. Good idea or not? Are brighter bulbs needed or not?
