I bought some used Cobra Calipers I need to clean them. What is the best way to clean them brake cleaner?? Can the brake cleaner hurt the rubber stuff around the pistons??? Or can I spray it all over the place I have plans to paint them too.

if its a 35th anniversary hood scoop or spring edition yes there is only 2 bolts and double sided tape all around that is whats holding it down. If its a 2001+ newer there should be 7 nuts holding it down,.

I'm getting ready to install my magnaflow x pipe on my 99 GT. The one thing I need to know those that have done an H pipe swap on a 99+ Mustang did you change out the passenger side gasket or did you reuse the old one???

So then the Bassani X O/R is better then any other X pipe out there including the magnaflow with cats???

I'm replacing my stock H with a magnaflow X-pipe. Can I resuse the gaskets and bolts or do I need new bolts and gaskets and where can I get them???

I thought that by getting rid of 2 of the cats it would free up more HP. Is it safe to say the cats in the x-pipe are still restrictive as the stock cats even though they are hi-flow??? So the X is more for sound the HP gains.??

If you go with a catted x like the one that you have it shouldn't be that much louder then when you had the stock h and magnaflows. Maybe a tad louder but good. I know what you mean the drone gets to you after a while.

Can I install the Mac Pro Chamber on my stock exhaust system. I know the Pro Chamber is 2.5 tubing but the stock is 2.25??? Will the Pro Chamber 2.5 bolt up to my 2.25 exhaust???

Same here I live in South Texas and my car is a Bone stock 99 GT. I get 175-200 to a tank and I don't drive hard that often.

I think 99,00 and some 01 use 5qts and the rest use 6qts. Don't know if its the dipstick or what but some do use 5 and others 6. If both engines are the same then one engine is running 1qt low or the other is running 1qt over. So my guess they are diffrent somehow.

No the car wasn't on. But if I drain the radiator fill it with fresh water turn on the car with the heater on the water inside of the heater core would get re- circulated along with the fresh water. My point was to get fresh water into the core and circulate the old water out which is should've...

No the car wasn't in incline...but I thought thats what the water pump does...no need to have the car in incline the water should eventually get pumped out of the heater core for re-serculation byt the water pump???
