im pretty sure i have it right now. I set the pressure with o psi at idle and then when i install the gauge tool it goes to 35 psi so i think that is correct. I have heard about a special bracket for the carb but in the lokar instructions they say to put it in the lowest 1/4" hole on the carb?

Where is the correct port for setting up the tv cable on the aod trans? Also, i am using the lokar kickdown cable and i have a holley carb so do i need a special bracket to hook it up? I drove my 67 mustang and it would not shift at all. Any other tips for hooking up the cable? thanks

so ill probably have to reverse the shift lever so its pointing down? i hope not so i dont have to pull the pan.

i just installed my aod with the lokar kickdown cable and a b&m shifter and i noticed before i put my driveshaft on that i could turn the yoke with my hand when the shifter said it was in park. I have to have the shift lever pointing up to work with the lokar cable but the B&M instructions have...

could i get away with using a pretty much stock aod? im still unsure about the shift pattern and what i can do to fix it?

yeah ive only been to a track once because the closet one is about 3 hours away. should i get a different valve body? i want to keep the cost down as much as possible but i still want it to be reliable. Should i buy a aod from a mustang and rebuild? thanks for the help

well right now its a 351w, twisted wedge heads, comp cams xe 274, weiand stealth intake manifold, holley 750, 3.73 gears.. probably about 325 hp at the wheels im guessing? i have a c4 right now but it runs like at 3200 rpm on the freeway so im looking to lower that. thanks

i am putting a aod in my 67 mustang but i am confused on what one to get? a stock aod? lentech? i have heard that the shift pattern on the stock aod is bad but im not sure about this.. the engine is a 351w.

i will try to get pics tomorrow night.. they have a nice shine to them. two of them have good tires on and two dont. the tires are 215/70/15 cooper cobras. i live in southern mn.
