Does anyone have cragar 500 Series Eliminator wheels stuffed under their car?

Black centers are available too. I bought 15x7 (4.125 BS) and 15x8 (4.5 BS) from Summit yesterday. Apparently selling well...mine are backordered.

    Rear Brakes Locking

From my understanding (I'm no expert), the plunger in the prop valve ONLY identifies a failure (loss of pressure) for either the rear or front brake system and doesn't meter or shut off fluid to either side. I thought you have a dual bowl MC for a reason...two seperate and independent systems...

    Manual vs. Power Brakes

I just finished the install of the granada kit from http://discbrakeswap.com and am very impressed. It came with the Bendix 11862 MC (15/16") for disc/drum setup. I had 4w manual drum before, and the the pedal effort is LESS now than it was with 4w drum.

    Performer Heads

Rbohm is right on point here! It all depends on what you want your car to do and what rpm range your car will normally be driven in. Matched components are key! I took my stock rebuild 289 2V and put on the Performer intake, Performer 500cfm carb, Performer Heads with roller rockers...

    HEADERS

I have Patriot ceramic Tri-Ys and they have been great. A lot of low end torque and no fitment problems.

    I need help with headers.

Finding shorty headers for 351C becomes a big challenge....and big $$. Summit has ceramic thorley's for $512.

    Aftermarket Intake/head combos?

I have a 289 in my 68 and put in the Edelbrock Power Package--heads, intake, cam, and carb. I went with the performer, not the RPM package because of the intended use of the car. This package has worked fantastic! No problems at all and it was BIG improvement over the stock 2V top end I had.

    u-joint failures

What is the symtoms of worn u-joints? Do they make a noise? I've replaced (rebuilt 8" on 68 Coupe) my third member about 3000 miles ago because it was whining. I now have a low pitch wa..wa..wa at low speeds. Didn't mean to hijack the thread, but any info would be appreicated.

My new baby! Hi-Po or no Hi-Po?

Here's the Shelby drop template. Sounds like you got big plans for your new stang. I would recommend rubber (Moog is great) strut rod bushings instead of Mylodine though. Good luck.

Aluminium heads: Edelbrock or Trick Flow?

Edelbrock heads are nice. I've had no problems. Plus, they're matched to my intake and carb, both edelbrock.

    69 Coupe suspension questions.

I did my complete suspension about six months ago and shopped around....Laurel Mountain Mustang had the best prices on a kit. Do the Shelby drop, well worth it.

    Holley vs Edelbrock Carbs

I have the 500 cfm Edelbrock #1403 (auto choke) and was very easy to install and performs great. Select your carb based on your engine build. The last thing you want is an over-carb'd engine that performs poorly.
