    BAND ADJUSTMENT

    Is there an external band adjustment for a c6 trans on a 68? If so where is it and how do you adjust?Transmission has a slip when shifting from 2 to 3 and want to try everything that may be causing this before I have to pull it.

    Ok, so the rack&pinions suck... What are we gonna do about it?

    TCP FG I went to a TCP rack for my 68 GT 500 and yes there is decreased turning radius and it is expensive.However those are the only negative things about this bolt on conversion.Steering feel and response much improved, no problem with bump steer and finally no leaks.

    THANKS Thanks for the info 67 coupe.I should of mentioned that the wheel cylinders and calipers are fairly new and have checked them twice for leaks.Also no fluid lost at master since I've driven car and I have bleed system twice to be sure.Pedal holds pressure fine.I will remove the master...

    ADJUST BOOSTER

    Suspect my brake booster needs to be adjusted where it meets the master cylinder.I have some free travel on the pedal before the brakes react and overall stopping force seems diminished(can not lock them up). I have the spec from the manual but my concern is how to take the master cylinder...
