Scott Drake And Dynacorn Crap Parts

Actually, the quote from NPD is exactly true. There are all but a couple manufacturers of sheet metal. Dynacorn is responsible for many more pieces being made that would have been made. But they are sourcing metal from the same manufacturers. If a company cares, they will try and sell the best...

I post so archived info is set straight. I don't really care what the poster thinks . . but I would like new searchers to see accurate information.

    SN95 Paint?

This is total crap. No difference in prep. And as a painter, I say it is easier for a novice to paint BC/CC because when you are spraying the color, you do not have to worry about getting it wet enough to shine. When doing metallics, this is a reason for runs and sags. As well as water melon...

    borgeson steering done!

I'm glad I was directed to this thread. I'm suggesting a system like this for a customer. I'm not a fan of the stock PS and he wanted to add it. Nice to see it was a good choice. I will push for this addition more so ( he was considering a R&P ) now. Thanks.

Anyone know of a correct looking 67-69 dual exhaust tip in 2.5"?????

You really have to learn how Ford installed the exhaust systems before you make blatant statements like that :) These tips I make are made like the originals and will look stock except that they will allow 2 1/2 pipes.

Anyone know of a correct looking 67-69 dual exhaust tip in 2.5"?????

I have used aluminized pipe before. Stainless can be done, but its going to cost more. As delivered, they won't rust . . unless you scratch them up badly; that means the weld bead or the pipe.

Anyone know of a correct looking 67-69 dual exhaust tip in 2.5"?????

You're kidding right Rusty??? Do you know how a stock dual exhaust system is secured at the rear valance? And when there is a tip involved? I didn't build a concours car here . . but I think you don't realize that I'm much closer to stock than not :)

Anyone know of a correct looking 67-69 dual exhaust tip in 2.5"?????

I basaically do the same thing as in that pic. I cut and weld a new piece onto them. Mine have a longer piece added, to keep it stock length. I use repro stainless rolled tips to start with. I made my own from an original pair, but no difference. If someone had an original pair and wanted them...

Yes I make them. I have made and sold several, even have a pair on my '68 1/2. I can take a pic of it installed as I custom make these, thus I keep none in stock. PM me if interested.

    '86 Turbo engine....wanting NA

I'm doing a 2.3 project. This is one engine available to me. Compression is not too much of an issue, as I said..I'm building an engine. I can choose my pistons, have the head milled whatever. I wasn't sure if the ports would match up to a carb manifold etc. Things like that ....
