    MM c/c install + new struts...question

    I just bought a set of maximum motorsport caster camber plates along with some new struts. On the MM website it says to install one spacer underneath the spherical bearing on lowered cars (eibach sportlines). Which i did, but it looks like the strut sticks way to far out above the camber plates...

    T5 oil and emissions hole block off?

    Just curious what oil you guys run in your T5? And does anyone know what size of bolt you need or what you need to plug the emissions holes on the back of the heads? any help is apprectiated, thxs.

    Plastic vaccum lines?

    Alright, iv run into a little bit of a problem. Pulled the engine, and in the process i snapped a few of the plastic vaccum lines. Now i have no idea which ones go where, anyone know? Green goes to the EGR i think Black to the air pump dunno the rest....could anyone fill me in? thxs alot!

    No matter how you look at it, your gonna probably have to get a new block or rebuild...if your lucky. Im in the same boat as you, my engine just went 4 weeks ago, 2 broken pistons, in the process of rebuilding. First rebuild but iv learned a TON so far.

    right on, yea thats what i was asking about (the hard plastic ones). I also broke off 2 other ones that dont hook up to the smog equipment. Problem is when they broke off, they broke off almost RIGHT at the rubber part (connector), and when i go to an auto parts store and ask for vaccum line...

    got a few questions, you know the vaccum lines your supposed to plug off when you remove the smog pump? where can i buy those? a few of the lines broke off (very britle) when i was disconnecting them (not the ones to the smog pump). And what size of belt will i need with no A/C and no smog pump...

    Lots of places, ebay, 5.0resto, cervinis might even sell em? dunno, and no you dont have to get it recalibrated, just get the speedometer that already matches yours.

    dry, yes the throttle was held wide open, and no the motor wasnt up to temp. We ran another test, backwards this time, same results. Im pulling apart the engine because of an audible knock between 2000-2500 rpm on deacceleration. So far iv got the heads off, but cant see any visible excessive...
