I bought the Custom Wheel Market Bullit knock offs, 16's x 8's I like them , think the back spacing is a little off( 4.50 ) I had to roll the wheel well lips a little bit, .only down side,,,made in china..
I recently installed a edlebrock performer RPM with a Holley 600cfm with vacum secodaries & electric choke, the engine is a 92 5.0 that I converted over to carb, my question is seeing has I have no reference to where the vacum line for the secondaries is supposed to connect can some clue me in...
I currently have a 2.80 rear or something and the car is not that hot out of the hole but once rolling is great, my buddy has a 4:11 posi chunk I can buy right, I think it would be pretty good given the 5.0 & the AOD (I'm not interested in going 140mph ) but also don't want to be geared way too...
I finally set it up according to lokar, I called them and they told me that the gage blok they reference in the instructions is .275 so basically they said put a bolt or something that is .275 with a slot in it to slip over the cable between the cable end and the plastic piece and set it to...
Did I do this right? I hooked up a pressure gage at the T.V. port on the trans...at idle in Neutral I then set the pressure at aprx. 35lbs..This info on the process on got off various posts about how to do it here and else where, butthen I read LOKARs instruction ansd they say you need some sort...
I don't know if there is a way to do it without the gage, some people have said put the throttle to the floor and pull it tight and then back it off a1/4 in and drive it. if it shifts too late it's to tight, if it shifts too soon it to slack,,,
no problems at all, used all LOKAR SS cables & brackets..actually although I also heard about shortening the drive shaft I had to have a longer one made..!
mine was found in the desert here in Phx. 2nd owner car , hadn't been driven since 1978. Totally disassebled and soda blasted no rust anywhere!!!! had a few dents, etc ...it cost almost as much $$$ to build the mustang as it cost to build the cobra..time wise the cobra took 7months...I did...

yes it is a AOD automatic, the shifter is a LOKAR 8" Ford AOD billet auluminum unit with a pushbutton lock out for rev. & Park it's pretty cool, the boot & bezel is also right out of the Lokar catalog as is the eliminator throttle pedal assembly, the Brake Pedal ( a bit of work to adapt to the...
