Slingshot Motorsport in Rolling Meadows

Had same problem w/ my catback. I turned the clamps away from the driveshaft and no more banging. You could see where the clamps were hitting the driveshaft. It was driving me CRAZY!!!!

What about Speed Inc. in Schaumburg or Slingshot Motorsports in Rolling Meadows???

He thinks the car sounds like an old muscle car. IMO the SLP sounds raspy, hollow and just plain obnoxious. I can't see how anyone likes the sound but to each their own.

My teenage neighbor has an SLP set-up on his '04GT and my wife says it sounds like a Mack truck. Margnaflow is the way to go since it's shown to be the highest flowing. Get SLP if you want to sound like a kid wishing he had an old musclecar.

magnaflow. best sound, fit, looks, and performance.

your wife sounds like mine. IMO get the magnaflow. I just installed the catback on my 99GT Vert after doing research showing it is the highest horsepower producing catback. The exhaust tone is very nice and not obnoxious like an SLP system.

My neighbor has the SLP catback on his 2004 GT and it is beyond obnoxious sounding. You can hear him from a mile away. He is young so he seems to enjoy the attention. I have the magnaflow catback on my '99 GT and couldn't be happier. Sounds nice but not too high schoolish plus it produces...

Try Auto Anything and get yourself a Dustop car cover. Best out there for the $.

Alumni club is good. Try the Living Room (a bar) also in Schaumburg. Higher end but nice place. Always Woodfield, streets of Woodfield, Ikea, Ram, Champps, ........ or drive 30 minutes to the city.
