Ok, been driving the car today and now the speedometer is working fine. Don't have a clue what caused it or what fixed it. I didn't do anything. It just started working by itself.

I'm building up a 87 notch. It was originally a 4cyl. I'm going to put a 302 carbed setup in the car. I have converted the front suspension and rear end out of an 88GT. My question is which springs would be better? The ones from when it was a 4 cyl or the ones from my GT donor? Or a combintation...

Anybody ever box in their stock rear control arms. Seems to me this would be an inexpensive way to take the flex out of them. Isn't that their weak point? I'm just building a cruiser, nothing to take to the strip. I just want a good handling car. Also, pics would be nice if anyone has done this...
