Did you not watch the special on TV where all the engineers said it was designed with racing in mind? Alot of what they did to it was tested and designed for the track. If you don't consider it a race car, what do you consider than?

Who cares what it looks and feels like? If you want quality wood grain and chrome and other luxury features, go buy a luxury car. Cheap plastic interior means less weight and since this is a RACE car and not a luxury car, less weight is a very good thing :nice:

Why the hell are you guys comapring the $25K 05 GT to a $35K Cobra, or even the more expensive Mach? The 05 GT is the FASTEST car you can buy for the price period, what more do you want? Plus, the Cobra and Mach have the ugly ass last gen look that will never look as good as the 05.

Yep, its the G-Tech pro and it is extremley accurate. I live in the desert and the closest track to me is 4 hours away, so if someone wants to send me about $100 for gas and another $20 to get the car on the track, I'll be more than happy to do it :nice:

I will be this weekend. One of my friends has a little timer thing you stick on the windshield and it reads times and MPH.

Why would you want to keep the stock deck? I might keep the 10 inch sub if its any good but I doubt it will be better than the two MTX 12 inchers I got. The first thing to go will be that deck. Got a brand new Alpine with the 7 inch touch screen all ready to go :banana:

:rlaugh: Sorry, I couldn't help myself. Its simple, wind up to desired RPM and drop the clutch. I did it at about 3K last night on my drive in the GT and it worked great :nice:
