    i dunno about mach1s and the 4v but on our cars (2v) we dont have a gasket on the driver side between the manifold and x-pipe... im facing that same problem with my slp x-pipe

    I had a thread open earlier in talk concerning a similiar topic but now I have a tech type question concerning an x-pipe. I may or may not be looking at a bassani x pipe tomorrow depending on your feedback. The x pipe was on a 97 cobra and i was wondering if it would fit on my 02 gt. Thank you

    Installing MGW Shifter, CANT remove STOCK shifter

    I remember how much of a bitch it was to get off. The best thing I could say is smack it REALLY hard for it to get off, dont be afraid to break anything as long ur hitting the base or the bottom of the old lever.

    yea i've definitly decided to clamp the system together so ill be waiting for those to ship to my house. I figure if i ever have to replace one of the resonators it would be alot easier if the system was clamped.

    I still need those 2 ball flanges for the midpipe though, I would hate to wait to have them ship those flanges. As for the weld, would you just recommend welding the system together?

    I am not totally sure on the height between the shifters but I love the look of my mgw and isnt as tall as the factory. I would say the triax and mgw are near the same height.

    There really isnt a difference between the shifters, you'll still be getting a shorter throw and a better feel than the factory shifter but I believe that the mgw has a shorter throw and personally I liked the feel of the mgw better. Its all personal preference though.
