I just did the same thing today. Then I got to researching it and am finding out its the alternator going out! Some how, they are saying it throws the cam sensor code but is actually the alternator.

Almost 8000 miles on my 08 Gt 5 spd and get 21 back and forth to work and a high of 27.1 going from Nashville,TN to FL . I have the 3.31 gears and want 4.10s but afraid it will kill the mileage, anyone know how much I'll lose? Right now I mods are Pypes off road X, Magnaflow full cat back...

I usually average around 14 gallons when I run my tank almost empty. At .20 a gallon more thats only $2.80 a tank more. Just not worth the risk.

Won't hurt a thing,but you will need the MILS to keep from getting the check engine light. They clip into your rear 02 sensors so you won't need anything to hook them up to. If you have a tuner such as SCT or Diablo you don't even need the mils you can just turn off your rear 02s with the tuner...

I'm wondering the same thing. Do I need to antisieze the plugs on my 08 or is Ford now doing this. Mine only has 1200 miles.:shrug:

My 06 F150 did the same thing but it told how to disable it in the owners manual. I hated it, so I turned it off.:lock: :bs:

I totally agree about the price. I had an MGW in my Mach and loved it but they have gotten too greedy for me. I hope they enjoy their shifters because they won't be getting my money. If we stop buying over priced products they will lower the price, if we keep buying why shouldn't they get all...

Mine has nothing more than welded in Flomaster 40's,drop in K&N replacement air filter and ran a best of 13.3 @ 103 on street tires.

Well I'm another long time Chevy fan with my first Ford. Just picked up an 03 Mach 1 w/ 9027 miles about 2 weeks ago. (Now it has over 10K) I love it, and am always looking for an excuse to drive.

I kinda want to get a catted Bassani X but want to know will it still sound good. Improvement over stock? I just don't want to have to take an offroad off every time emissions testing rolls around, or I'd get one for sure. :notnice: Dang emissions :bang:

I'm curious how the catted bassanni x sounds. I want to still pass emissions but I want that awsome mustang sound. Is the catted X a whole lot like stock, with Flows or will it still really improve the loudness of the Flows. I'm getting the impression that you can't have sound and cats. I don't...
